Introduction to the blog and the guides

Welcome!

Welcome to my series of guides for very new players for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn! Each post will cover a single topic starting from choosing your race and far, far beyond. Those new to MMO's will hopefully gleam some insight and reassurance especially about their decisions at the start of the game which can and will effect your entire playthrough experience.

Questing with friends (or complete strangers) is key to your overall success in Eorzea.

Another area that new players may need reassurance and advice with is involving the group play aspect of the game (as this is an MMO.) Guides further down the line will give advice on how to play your class role effectively in a group as well as some tips for the beginner dungeons and guildhests. Looking forward to sharing experiences, tales and tips with you all in the future.
